It's Genetic

Since I have no pregnancy updates to speak of, and the most noteworthy thing that's happened to me so far today was the uncontrollable fit of snorting giggles that overtook me when I glanced at the name of the nail polish color I'd picked for my pedicure ("Berry Hard"), won't you please take a look at the following pictures of me and my son?
I will make sure that this picture is prominently displayed when his first girlfriend comes over one day.

Yep, we're related.

Classic! He so has your sweet face!

I had the same pair of underoos! Only option for girls, wasn't it? Guess it was the only female character. Man, totally shafted.

I loved dressing up as a superhero as a kid. These pictures are so adorable.

The cuteness! I can't take it!

Yep. You're the mom.

Love both your costumes, but the pull-ups+boots is the best thing ever!

Oh my gosh, those pics are so cute! I have seen so many families where the children look overwhelmingly like the dad - it's good to know that female genetics can win out every once in a while too.

I don't know where on earth he gets his fashion sense?

OMG! You had Wonder Woman underoos! (I was a bat girl underoo wearer myself, but we would have made a hell of a crime fighting superhero team!)

Oh yeah, one and the same! But you know what - the picture that the video (2 year old one) is frozen on before you play it looks just like your husband!

I miss Underoos - do you think they could make them for adults?

I had those Underoos too! I also had some Josie and the Pussycats, and I got in trouble in Kindergarten music class because I lifted my dress to show my friend the new design.

Toops looks a lot like you!

OK, so the name of the building inspector for our new offices at work? Barry Sexy.

I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING.

Clearly, his parents thought they were hilarious. Come to think of it, so do I.

Priceless! Love the action shot of him! He looks like a wild one!

That is the best thing I've seen all week.

If, in his grouchy adolescence, Toopweets ever claims to be adopted, all you have to do is show him those photos to set him straight. :-)

I was Wonder Woman, too!!! But my mom didn't let me wear white nylons/leggings underneath mine--she made me wear freakin' cable-nit tights.

You should get a side-by-side of these framed up :)

Woah! Now those are some strong-ass genes you have! Totally adorable.

"Now come out baby, we are all waiting to see you!"

These pictures are SO adorable. I love them both! Superheros UNITE! Your son is adorable. I do so love the boots, complete with the coordinating diaper and cape. :)

Classic. You should definitely frame these side by side. Then...save them for when he's a teenager and needs to be taken down to size. Snicker.

Clearly the apple does not fall far from the super hero tree.

Pretty darn adorable.

I miss my Wonder Woman underroos. Why on earth did they stop making those things, they were awesome!

You guys look identical, both absolutely adorable!

I totally dressed up as Wonder Woman one year too!
But I was 21.
Yours is cuter, and much less pathetic than mine was.

Your little Superman rocks.
