...I leave this fair city one day, it will be kicking and screaming.
Not for the food, not for the buildings, and not for the nightlife.
(Though all those things are great.)
But rather, because this glorious city is one where a man can wander around with a damned cat atop his head like so:

Please consider this my formal request for a daily picture.
I second that request.
I have totally seen that guy and that cat. And that was almost three years ago. As soon as we got home after seeing him, my husband tried to put our cat on his head. Sadly for his head, our cat was not as amused as we were
Say hello to that ventriloquist in Times Square for me. Oops...I mean, say hello to her puppet.
A few thoughts:
1) This is totally your dream, right? You ANIMAL HATER.
2) This makes the "cat room" look straight up lame, right. Maybe that dude should have tried proposing with a cat on his head.
3) I kind of wish I could do that.
Whuuuuuut?
I used to see this guy all the time but I haven't for years now. I was actually wondering aloud about where he's been the other day to my husband (who found my concern for the matter... odd).
I once tried to take a picture of him and his cat, and he yelled at me that I had to pay him for the picture or else delete the picture. Not sure why I was surprised that the man with the cat on his head was not 100% uncrazy...
Um... does he have bird crap on his stomach??
That's awesome. My visit to NYC was definitely some of the best people watching I've done in years.
NYC is the BEST for people watching AND blog fodder!
I think I would have wanted to have my picture taken WITH the guy with the cat on his head, it's THAT awesome.
Yikes. Let's hope that cat doesn't scare easily.
No way! Hahahaha!
Also, hi! I'm rejoining the land of the blogging! I have missed you, O Hilarious One!
That's not a man with a cat on his head... it's a cat with a man under its butt (a member of cat's staff no doubt).
Also - I have always wanted to go to New York, and now I want to EVEN MORE.
YES! Daily crazy(awesome) NYC pics!
I love this idea.
I can't even get my cat to walk across the room so I can pet him. How did this guy get his cat to do that?
Pretty much the same reason I adore San Francisco. I love living somewhere where people can just...be.
